Great food, friendly, helpful folks (recognising & switching to good English for foreign guests), well kept clean place, positive atmosphere & adequate prices. Tour guiding Dutch colleagues on motorbikes around the area, they've positively confirmed having enjoyed their lunch break.

A pleasant place for a meal - a little close to a fairly busy road, but I suppose that means it's convenient for the traveller!! A good view of the Rhine. Service was efficient and pleasant - the waiter spoke excellent English, which was helpful! We had beer (a good alcohol free available), pork schnitzel and apple strudel - very traditional and enjoyable. Be aware " baked potato" means "roast potatoes". They were fine, just not what we expected!!

This restaurant is an absolute gem! The views are beautiful. The staff was helpful and funny. The food was incredibly delicious. Their kurbissuppe was the best I have ever had in Germany. My husband and son had the wild boar (taste and presentation was perfect.) I am very grateful that we found this wonderful place!

We tried the Restaurant im Rheintal when we were staying in Rudesheim. It is a nice restaurant with a beautiful view of the valley. We ordered schnitzel, Rump steak and a small molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Schnitzel was amazing. The rump steak was supposed to be mid rare but felt slightly over cooked. The dessert was brilliant with a fresh blackberry puree. The service was friendly and quick. A good place to have a relaxed evening
